No Surprise Pricing:
At Clear Cut Auto you get your final price before work starts on your vehicle. If you don’t like the number, it's no hard feelings or pressure from us. If you approve, you pay the quoted amount and that work gets done. Simple as that. It doesn't matter if the quoted issue takes twice as long to resolve as we expected. We take on that risk so that you don’t have to. You already did your part to pay, we do our part to fix the issue.

No Sleazy Upsells:
There's a box on our quoting form that says “would you like to be informed of other issues found on your vehicle during service?”.
If you check no, that means no. You hired us to perform the quoted service, and we will do just that. It’s not our place to stray beyond that. If you check yes, any issues found will be pointed out with no pressure or obligation to have them fixed.

No Subpar Work:
All work we do at Clear Cut Auto is done with the utmost care for the customer's vehicle. Before, during, and after work, a full set of pictures is taken of the vehicle and work area to ensure that when repairs are done, nothing else has changed or been damaged. Work is done carefully and according to trusted repair guides and manuals. Clear Cut Auto mechanics are licensed with the State of Michigan, and we carry insurance just in case.

Options That Fit Your Budget:
Some people want their car rolling down the road for the cheapest amount possible, others want only OEM parts no matter the cost. These options and anything in between are available at Clear Cut Auto. We'll work with you to match your goals and budget. Many customers are surprised at how affordable fixes can be. It never hurts to get a free rough estimate.

Full Transparency:
You should be able to know and understand exactly what you're paying for at Clear Cut Auto. Every quote includes a full breakdown explaining why you pay what you pay. This even includes things like profit margins. During and after work, pictures are taken to ensure that everything is done to a satisfactory level. All of this is done so that you feel like a connected part of the repair. If there are ever any questions or special requests bring them up any time and we’ll do our best to meet them.
How We Work:
Step 1
Tell Us What’s Wrong
Something’s wrong with your car. Anything from a small annoying sound, a rough running engine, or perhaps something just doesn't feel right.
Step 2
Fill Out the Free Estimate Form
You fill out the estimate form with your vehicle details and the issues you're experiencing.
Step 3
Get a Price Estimate
We send you a rough price estimate by email or text based on the initial information provided.
Step 4
Diagnostic Visit
If you approve, we will come fully diagnose your vehicle for our small fee of $20-45 at your location.
Step 5
Final Locked-in Quote
Soon after, we will give you a detailed quote with a full breakdown. This is the final locked-in price and will not change once work begins.
Step 6
Repair and Payment
If you approve, we come back on the scheduled day, you pay, and your vehicle gets repaired with expert care.
Step 7
Finished with Proof
When we finish, you will be given a receipt of service that includes pictures of the work done. That's it. Nothing more.
